Who Is the Keep Gilmer Beautiful Committee?

The Keep Gilmer Beautiful Committee
is a group of concerned citizens whose purpose is to educate and inspire Gilmer County citizens to take ownership of the environment and ensure that Gilmer County stays clean and beautiful for future generations.

We actively seek community involvement of all ages to help prevent littering, encourage recycling and reduce waste by creating a greater awareness of our shared responsibility of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.

Each year the community gathers at the Earth Day Ellijay Event in April to clean up the community.

We invite all individuals, community organizations, schools and local area businesses to work together in achieving goals that will keep Gilmer County free of litter.
